Invisalign Reviews
Invisalign in savage mn treatment is a technologically advanced method to provide people with straighter teeth. Using a series of nearly invisible BPA-free plastic aligning trays, Invisalign slowly and gradually adjusts the placement of your teeth without using any uncomfortable or unsightly metal. Because of the cutting-edge technology of Invisalign, each patient receives customized treatment specifically to their orthodontic and aesthetic needs and desires. Because the Invisalign aligners are removable, people undergoing Invisalign treatment can still regularly brush and floss their teeth, helping maintain oral health. Invisalign aligners can also be removed for eating and drinking, allowing patients to consume whatever food or drink they desire. Treatment time varies from patient to patient, and the average treatment time is about a year, though some treatments can be completed in as little as six months. The 3-D imaging technology used in the custom Invisalign design allows patients to see in advance what their corrected, straighter smile will look like. In rare cases, patients may have adverse allergic reactions to Invisalign, and the treatment may not be recommended for everyone, so be sure to talk to an Invisalign-trained dentist to learn if Invisalign will work for you. Generally, patient reviews of Invisalign treatment are overwhelmingly positive.
Love This Teeth Straightening Method
I had this when it was first new to Australia a decade ago and I was very happy with how it worked for me but it's even better these days - so that when it came time for my daughter to get orthodontics a couple of years ago I chose the Invisalign also for her. She now has very beautiful teeth and everytime I see her smile I think what a great choice it was to have her teeth done like this. There is a bit more freedom with Invisalign because you can take it out to brush your teeth or eat tricky foods. I loved that I could have a break if I wanted to for five minutes or so! It's quicker than the conventional way of straightening the teeth. I had a quote for both braces and invisalign - braces was 3 years, invisalign was 7 months. No guessing why Invisalign impressed me so much but also before getting it done I watched some videos on the internet to see how it really worked. I was impressed enough to go ahead with the Invisalign option. It was a bit more expensive than the conventional method but I feel it was worth it because it was more comfortable and quicker. Also, while wearing the trays it's actually hard to tell I was wearing any form of teeth straightening device at all. The trays are clear so you just see your teeth. After the trays have completed the straightening, then a retainer is used to keep the teeth in place for some time after. It only hurt a little bit for the first 24-48 hours and then there was absolutely no pain for the rest of the time. I liked that the computer worked out the perfect way to get my teeth to look good! I also loved that I didn't need to visit my ortho much throughout treatment - just every six-eight weeks or so to make sure things were going to plan. Now my next daughter also will be getting her Invisalign trays in a couple of weeks time.
Worth It
The day I got my invisalign I cried because It was uncomfortable, I was overthinking the way it looked, and my speech was off. I remember thinking what did I get myself into?! Flash forward to a year later, and I have zero regrets. After the first week, things became more normal and no one really notices them. You can see them, sure, but if you're going to a big event just leave them out - the show goes on. Additionally, set realistic expectations. I did mine for an overbite, and could not be happier with the results, but I know a lot of that is because of being logical. I still have a semi overbite, but invisalign did wonders to it and I feel so much more confident now! Worth every annoying time brushing 5 times a day, waiting to drink my coffee, etc. If this is something you have been thinking about, just jump and do it - the quicker you start the quicker you will be done - you won't ever regret it! And hang in there if you're like me on those first days - it will be worth it.
