Our Savage dentists, Dr. Melissa Zettler and Dr. Sara Fam, and our team are committed to going above and beyond for our patients and want you to feel welcome and valued. You can ask us questions, and we will respond honestly and directly. We will never pressure you into a treatment that you do not need. You can trust us, always. Should you ever have concerns, please tell us; we cannot rectify a situation unless we know what’s going on.

Your first visit will be an hour-long appointment with Dr. Zettler or Dr. Fam. This will allow her to get to know you, assess your clinical care needs, and talk with you about your oral health goals. Based on her findings and your discussion, she will present different treatment options for meeting those needs and reaching those goals, explaining how each works and encouraging you to ask questions. Together, you will decide on a treatment path that works for you.

Our team understands that some people experience dental anxiety. We have created a welcoming, calm, safe environment, and we take special time with fearful patients, proceeding at a pace where they are comfortable. We offer empathy, reassurance, and encouragement, without hesitation or judgment; we are thankful that a patient has found the courage to face their fear and we will help them work through it.

With our emphasis on patient comfort, we have equipped our treatment areas with everything needed to help you relax. We have blankets and pillows if you’d like to snuggle down, and Bose headphones so you can listen to your favorite music. If there is anything else you’d like to help make your experience more pleasant, please let us know. We truly want your visits with us to be great.
